Introducing Eden Fresco ! An exploration of Edenderry’s rich Heritage through innovative multidisciplinary Art partnerships between Artists & local Community groups. Eden Fresco will culminate in a large collaborative visual art piece representing each of the partnerships & mapping the work that will have taken place. Artists & Community groups will be given themes & paired together to compliment each other & to have a shared learning process. Each partnership will be required to facilitate 4 workshops with the Community Groups they have been matched with. Within the workshops they will explore the set theme and come up with something visual, audio or written to add to the ‘map’ - it will be up to the Artists & Community groups to decide which medium to present their piece through. The project is facilitated by Creative Places, Edenderry, who will oversee activities & be a point of contact for all involved. These workshops will take place between April & September 2025 & the project will be a unique opportunity for the Community in Edenderry to collaborate to create a large piece of visual art with meaning for all involved, celebrating Edenderry heritage.
