Eclipse Youth Animation Festival consists of a series of workshops and other events over the 2-week school Spring Break.

The workshops cover various styles of animation – stop motion, 2D, 3D, digital and hand drawn, plus Foley sound recording and portfolio creation advice for those students considering studying animation/film/art.

The aim of the festival is to allow young people in the North West Clare region a chance to access professionally run workshops that introduce them to the world of animation where they can learn the skills involved, experience an opportunity for creative and artistic expression and gain an insight into what is now a very realistic career path in Ireland today.
