In Autumn/Winter 2024 young people in Cork City will come together to co-design an accessible, disability-friendly social event and pop-up youth space for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025.

Cork City Comhairle na nÓg will collaborate with the student council of Scoil Bernadette and the Breaking Barriers Theatre Group to create an inclusive space that reflects the needs and wishes of young people with disabilities. Through meetings, theatre exercises, and creative sessions with local artists, the group will capture their ideas and design an event that empowers them to tell their story. The process will be documented in a zine, poster, or podcast to serve as a blueprint for future accessible events.
