One of the priorities of Roscommon County Council Arts Office is to offer high quality arts experiences to people, regardless of geographical location. 

Funding will be provided to the Creative Places Ballaghaderreen Programme budget to support a targeted community engagement workshop:

The Art of Pyrography with Vincent Hunt 

2 week free-hand wood burning drawing course for adult students from EROC - Emergency Reception and Orientation centre, in Ballaghaderreen. 

If the participants are interested the work could potentially be on display then this September either in a space in town or at a large Culture Night music and festival event planned at Edmondstown House for Culture Night (Friday 20 September 2024). 

5 Hours Hands on practical contact time per week per participant.
