This project will build on the partnership between Malahide Library and Prosper Fingal - a group that provides services and supports to adults with an intellectual disability in North County Dublin. Several creative workshops for the members of Prosper Fingal took place in the library previously and these proved to be such a success that Prosper have requested more. For this project, the Library will organise two art sessions with artist John Carpenter and members of Prosper Fingal, to take place in Malahide library. The art created during these workshops will be put on display in the Reading Room in Malahide Library for Culture Night and the following weeks. Session one will be an exploration of self portraits. These works will be created on canvas for later display for Culture Night. The theme of the second session will be decided on following a  discussion between John and the members of Prosper.
