A Hedge School is being recreated as part of the Moyne Latin School Interpretive Centre, telling the history of learning in the area. To recreate this entails the repair of an existing traditional dry stone built enclosed area at the rear of the school and building an extra length of traditional dry stone wall. This will be done using the same local stone and traditional clay lime mortar. Planting native flora will recreate what was the Charis tic of the Hedge School and the natural habitat of the area.
