Coding for Kilmeena Kids

Kids in Kilameena Will Be Learning All About Coding and Putting Their Creativity to Use in the Tech Space!

This innovative project is designed to unlock the digital world for children in the community, focusing on those from disadvantaged families. Developed in collaboration with local stakeholders, it addresses the critical need for IT skills identified through community consultations.

The engaging course introduces children to essential computer skills, coding, and animation in a hands-on, interactive manner. Through exciting activities, participants will explore the real-life relevance of coding, learn to create simple code, and dive into the vibrant realm of animation. They will not only craft captivating animations but also produce their very own "HOW TO CODE FOR KIDS" guide, making learning fun and accessible.

The project's mission is to bridge the digital divide, empowering every child with the skills necessary for future success. By igniting a passion for technology and fostering new interests, this initiative aims to inspire a generation of learners ready to take on the world. Together, the community can watch as these children's creativity and confidence soar!
