Children’s Book Festival 2020 runs nationally for the month of October and is a great opportunity for young people, parents, teachers, and libraries to celebrate books and reading! Offaly Library Service is marking this very special time of year with an array of events and activities. Many of our traditional events have gone online this year but there are still plenty of reasons to visit one of the libraries in our branch network!

There is a number of craft workshops online and the provision of craft bags for collection in the library. There is also a competition for kids to dress up as their favourite character.
