Cavan Library Service, in partnership with a genealogist and local historians, is researching aspects of the lives of men and women of the Cavan Diaspora across the globe with a view to publishing a book on Cavan Diaspora Stories. 

This publication will recall lives both notable and notorious alike who can lay claim to a Cavan heritage. The men and women featured may sometimes be better known in their adopted homelands than they are in Ireland which lends to the charm of discovering their stories for the first time.
