Open Call Strand 1: Community/Creative Collaboration will provide support to Castlerea Community Arts Group in the setting up of a Community Choir in Castlerea. 

Director of Ignite Choir in Galway, Kera Sheerin will facilitate a taster workshop and subsequent group sessions to establish the choir at Trinity Arts Centre, Castlerea

Castlerea Community Arts group came together over 20 years ago, the group make up is of individuals with an interest in drama, music, arts culture and heritage. The aim of the group initially was to identify a space within our community dedicated to the promotion of arts culture and heritage.
