A series of Care Home concerts will take place in late 2024 and early 2025 with professional singer, songwriter Mary Culloty O’Sullivan and her piano accompanist Tony O’Flaherty. The duo will be visiting Kerry based care homes and performing a programme 20 concerts that will include a combination of Irish Ballads, Musicals and Contemporary pieces to suit everyone. During the visits they also invite people in the Care Homes to sing with the piano accompanying them which is always a huge hit amongst the residents.

The impact that these in-house concerts have for the audience members is a positive and uplifting experience particularly for the vulnerable, the elderly and the isolated. Music and song can dramatically reduce stress and anxiety, improve mood, mental alertness, and memory.
