This initiate centres around the production of Me & My girl, combining theatrical performance with practical skill- building to foster creativity, inclusion and intergenerational collaboration.
St. Mel's Musical Society are delighted to collaborate with Longford town Men’s Shed to design and build our set. Through a mentorship programme, the experienced craftsmen will guide participants inset construction, design and prop-making, preserving traditional skills and promoting intergenerational learning. Practical workshops will enhance creativity and empower participants with hands-on experience. The project culminates in 6 vibrant live performances showcasing the work, local talent and demonstrating the value of collaboration in strengthening  the Longford cultural identity.
