Bri Project
This is a socially engaged project, taking place in a heritage site in County Carlow that is focused on capacity building in the creative sector and health and wellbeing for rural communities. It is supported by national and international collaborators and will boost economic development in County Carlow. Bri Project focuses on socially engaged arts in rural setting of South County Carlow, based around inclusion, knowledge exchange and research. The program will begin with twelve, day-long workshops for creative practitioners and commissioners, and community groups, focused on socially engaged art practice with a specialisation in work taking place in healthcare contexts. Our experience of producing evidence-based interventions positions us to develop supportive knowledge exchange aimed at enabling artists to talk through obstacles to commissions or work processes.
