Biodiversity and Creativity at McHale Park
Situated in the heart of Castlebar, McHale Park has been the home of Mayo GAA since 1931. This year, they will enhance their commitment to implementing a Biodiversity Action Plan, including spotlighting the rich biodiversity of the McHale Park area and the essential role of pollinators through the medium of art.
Guided by the McHale Park GAA Sustainability Campus Biodiversity Group, a collaborative endeavour will being together ecologists, community groups, and the talented artist James Kirwan to craft a vibrant mural.
Creativity is the linchpin in this colourful initiative, unlocking change and showcasing the potential of this unique location as it takes the lead in emphasizing the importance of biodiversity and the invaluable contributions of pollinators.
