Benbulben Arts and Craft Festival is a celebration of Rathcormac Craft Village, the Artists, Crafts people and the creative local community in which we live. It is an opportunity for the local community to visit Rathcormac Craft Village, try their hand at Arts and Crafts, listen to music and enjoy a celebration in mid September in North Sligo. 

We plan on bringing Benbulben Comhaltas and several other local music groups to provide music throughout the day. 

The festival will be family orientated and an opportunity for the Craft Village to give back to the local community. We will liaise with Rathcormac NS and ensure the festival is child and family centred. 
The idea came about after discussions between Michael Branley, Ian Carty, Dave McLoughlin, Ciaran Walsh, Colm Brennan, Tan Smith and Poilin McGowan. All the above are committee members for the festival. The festival will promote the Craft Village as one of Sligos main tourist and local destinations showcasing award winning Craftspeople and the Award winning Vintage Lane Café in the backdrop of Benbulben mountain. We would love this to be an Annual Event that would showcase North Sligo and give the people of Sligo an opportunity to engage in the arts which promotes wellbeing, community participation, environmental sustainability and diversity.
