The aim is to target a number of audiences throughout this program to encourage & introduce them to creative experiences which we believe will enhance their lives & also be beneficial to our community as a whole. We hope that this project may work as a catalyst for creative discovery & expression in our community.

Examples are The Gruffalo & friends Workshops - 40 minute song & story workshops based on Julia Donaldsons books. Three workshops Max Capacity 20 Children 

Creativity for Wellbeing – 6 Week Program. Target Audience – Actively Retired Max Capacity 12

Children’s Book-Themed Craft Workshops – Children U-8 / U-13 Max Capacity 10

Crafty Creatives – Target Audience – Adults with Intellectual Disability

Build your Creative Confidence – Target Audience – Parents. Max Capacity 14

Children’s Sensory Sound Experience – Target Audience – Children U-10 / Children with ID or ASD

We hope to provide high quality experiences with a range of creative mediums which will (as above) encourage creativity in our community, but also enhance wellbeing, build connections – with other communities / within oneself / within families; and support local creative enterprises.
We are planning this project on a small scale targeting the outcomes described as most meaningful to participants in previous programs. We were very proud to see high levels of participation from a niche group at our rural South Sligo location last year.
