Ag Teacht Abhaile’ is a free event taking place at Jim of the Mills, Upperchurch, Thurles on the 26th of October to celebrate and encourage the use of our native Irish language. Tá an athbheochan gaeilge ar siúl! The revival of Irish is happening and we are inviting everyone to come join us, to reawaken to the love of our teanga, our language,  to reclaim what is ours. We will be joined by Siobhan De Paor, Diarmuid Lyng, Paul Brophy, Louise O’Connor, Bláthnaid Ní Smaolaigh agus James O’Dwyer who will share their love of the language through activities around food, wordplay, Irish dancing, a fun quiz all followed by a Seisiún ceoil. Adults whether fluent or beginner or brand new to the Irish language are all welcome.
