Jenny Fennessy and Dylan Kennedy of Red 'n Blue Theatre Company will deliver acting workshops to six amateur drama groups throughout Co. Tipperary. The workshops are inclusive and participants from 16+ are welcome.

The couple will share their acting skills, experience and expertise by giving each participant typed notes on a wide variety of acting techniques; demonstrate each technique and then give participants opportunities to practice these new skills by themselves, in pairs and in groups. Subsequently, they will work on a wide variety of scripts where they will have multiple opportunities to explore and experiment with new techniques, skills and approaches.

Their aim is to nurture new talent and to further inspire those already experienced in performance. On completion of the workshops performers will feel empowered and have developed a greater level of expression physically and vocally.  The facilitators would anticipate this new level of skill would lead to performances that were more engaging, more truthful and give them long-term tools in creating their future work. 

These workshops are being offered to  amateur drama groups across County Tipperary in the following areas.

New Inn

Nenagh

Burncourt, Ballyporeen, Clogheen

Tipperary Town

Loughmore
