Cruinniú na nÓg
Ireland’s national day of creativity for children and young people – a chance for everyone under 18 to unleash their creativity and participate!
With hundreds of free events, workshops, exhibitions and performances, and a special focus on starter workshops to encourage young people to try something new. With everything from shield making to game coding, Japanese kite making to dark-room photography and tapestry weaving, Cruinniú na nÓg is an opportunity for children and young people to fulfil a secret creative ambition or showcase their inner creative hero!
And all of this for free – and in your own community. The programme of events in every county is decided on within your own community – and delivered to you locally by our Culture and Creativity teams in each local authority.
And more importantly, not only is Cruinniú all about things for you to do – but you also get to help us decide what creative things young people all over Ireland can get to do in 2022!
Simply click on the Chat link and tell us what creative things you like to do. The team here at Creative Ireland will gather up all your ideas and share them with our Cruinniú coordinators all around the country so that your voice – what you would like to do and try – will help us all think of some great things to do this year!
