'Becoming Kin' - The KinShip Project

Cork Healthy Cities is delighted to continue this very popular series online on Tuesday February 22nd 2022 at 2.30pm to speak about the first event in the ‘Becoming Kin’ citizen-led programme.

Local Project – Ms. Lauren Guillery Seaside Squirrel Sustainable Craft Business and Ms. Siobhan Clancy, Community Arts Coordinator Cork City Council will discuss KinShip – a Durational Public Art Work in Tramore Valley Park.

 

The KinShip event will take place at Tramore Valley Park led by artists Lennon Taylor (Marilyn Lennon and Seán Taylor), in partnership with Cork City Council. The aim of The KinShip Project is to develop a kin-like connection between the community and its park, encouraging people to treat the park like an extension of their own family.

Discussion will follow both presentations.
