Doorstep Dances is a six-week dance and movement programme where participants engage in a series of 1-2-1 'in person' workshops lead by local Dance Artist Roisin Whelan.
Each week Roisin and the Doorstep Dances team visit the participant’s home to dance, chat and even have a cup of tea! Each dance session will be designed and tailored to meet each participant’s needs, abilities and music choices. Over the course of the programme local Visual Artist Bridget Flannery will also drop by capture the dance class through figurative mark making which will then be given to the older person.
The workshop series runs for six weeks over three separate cycles in one of the three municipal districts in Carlow and classes are also available online.
