This tourism project will culminate in 2019 with the hosting of the All-Ireland Confined Drama Finals by the West Clare Drama Festival in Doonbeg.  The power of community based drama to challenge and excite as well as offer the sense of place experience will be developed so that it attracts audiences who wish to engage and understand theatre at community level. It is hoped to utilise lessons learned in Doonbeg as a model for key towns involved in tourism projects across the county in future.  The Drama Finals take place in April.
