This short creative documentary will look at the work of a settled man called Pip from Wexford town, who is one of the few people in Ireland to paint traditional barrel top wagons for Travellers.

It will follow the progress of Pip as he decorates traditional caravans and feature interviews with Travellers on the heritage of the intricately-painted barrel top wagons.

During the Wexford fringe festival in October a barrel top wagon decorated by Pip will be located in Wexford Town and the documentary will be screened inside for members of the public to view, giving them an experience to look at folk art and learn more about this dying out tradition.
