The McCarthy’s Circus Bar Travelling Exhibition chronicles the wonderful story of the John McCarthy circus archive from the child collecting circus posters / photos in the 1980s , to the young man who first opened his circus bad / museum in 1917 right up until its closure in 1966. It delivers an exciting new cultural experience for visitors, something different and never before seen in Ireland.

It will include an audio-visual display, additional modular pop up displays as well as vintage film reels depicting circus scenes of a travelling circus in Ireland circa 1950/60s.
