Roscommon County Youth Theatre is a professional youth theatre designed to provide opportunities for young people who have a passion for acting and performance. It is a supportive youth network with a focus on expanding the minds of young people while constantly aiming to build confidence and interpersonal skills. Over the past 20 years, the RCYT has had several highly acclaimed productions ranging from comedies to tragedies and everything in between.

In 2019, RCYT is celebrating its 20th anniversary with an exhibition in Aras an Chontae. The exhibition includes images, props and performances from productions from the past 20 years. The official opening of the exhibition is on 5th November.
