Creative classes for Sligo Women's Shed
Project Summary
HRT Weaving for Wellbeing, where “HRT: stands for Handles, Rods, and Twists—not hormone replacement therapy, but a different kind of remedy for the mind and soul! In this project, the women of Sligo Shed will come together for a series of six, hands-on willow weaving workshops. Guided by Helena Golden, Willow Woman, participants will explore the tactile craft of willow weaving, all while creating beautiful and practical items for the home and garden. Each workshop will be an opportunity to learn our heritage craft of basketmaking, strengthen community bonds, and enjoy each other’s company along the way.
