Westmeath's Heritage Office will engage in a project involving the specialist conservation of maps of the Nugent estate in Donore, Co. Westmeath – the Nugent's were significant landowners in North Westmeath, whose properties included Ballinlough Castle.

This project will allow for the maps to be properly preserved, which will allow the maps to be digitised and openly available to researchers and interested members of the public.
