Led by Creative Cavan; Cavan County Council’s Library Service, Libraries NI, Irish Hospice Foundation, Compassionate Communities (Foyle Hospice), Cavan Age Friendly, Cavan Healthy Ireland and South West Age Partnership are working in collaboration to deliver a cross border project ‘The Art of Life’ which normalises conversations about death, dying and end of life using creative approaches.   

As part of the project Death Positive Libraries will be placed within 6 libraries in Counties Cavan, Fermanagh and Tyrone allowing people access to a wealth of knowledge around these difficult topics.  An image which represents the ‘Art of Life’ has been created by local artist Kim Gaffney Art and will be unveiled as part of the launch.
