Beginning in the autumn of 2024 Cluain Dara: Perspectives from the Blackwater Catchment will take place in The Cluain Dara Day Care Centre in Fermoy. 

Embracing the metaphor of “river” as the flow of life our project aims to gather stories from a community of Elders of The Blackwater. 

Our means and materials will arise from this metaphor, ideas of motion and flow nourishment, bio-diversity and appreciation of our place in the natural world will be explored across visual artforms and processes. 

Towards the end of the project young people will be invited to share experiences and hear the voices of the elders.

The project will take place from Autumn 2024 till Autumn 2025
