Harp Day | Lá na Cruite is a celebration of the Irish harping tradition in Ireland and around the world. This year, events will be held in Ennistymon to mark the day.

10-11am: Local yoga instructor Sue Redmond will host a yoga class with music accompaniment by harpist Aisling Lyons & pedal steel guitar player Simon O’Reilly. This event will take place in the Falls Hotel.

11am-12noon: Paul Dooley, local harper & harp maker will give a talk and demonstration on the Old Wire Strung Harp. This will 

12noon-1pm: ‘Try the Harp’ – with Aisling Lyons. If you have ever been interested in trying out the harp, this might be your opportunity! Limited to 10-minute slots. Harps will be provided. Booking is required. This free event will take place in the Falls Hotel.

8pm:  Evening concert – with music by local harp students, Paul Dooley, Kseniia Rusnak & Aisling Lyons. Refreshments will be
provided. This event will take place in the Courthouse Gallery, Ennistymon.
