Look beyond what you know & ask what is possible

Look beyond what you know & ask what is possible will be a partnership between graffiti artist Kevin Bohan, Ciaran Moran (singer songwriter) Emmet O’ Brien (spoken word artist), a young men 10 – 24 years from Jobstown and Connect 4, an innovative outreach programme that focuses on detached youth work in Jobstown / Killinarden.  With the intention of giving voice to marginalised young men aged 10 – 24 in Jobstown and Killinarden and contributing to the wellbeing of the community by enhancing their immediate environment, allowing the young men to positively contribute to their community.

Connect 4 operates directly on the streets of West Tallaght, Killinarden, and Jobstown, reaching out to vulnerable youth in their home environments, seeing the challenges they face and providing essential support and assistance. Their primary objective is to aid those at risk, including those dealing with mental health issues, engaging in anti-social behaviour, and involved in drug use or drug-related crimes. They do this through a varied programme of activity that includes sport, and educational programming and most recently, collaborating with the SDCC arts office to build creative and cultural capacity in this area.
