Since the devastating 2009 Christmas time fire which destroyed St Mel's Cathedral, Longford Tiernan Dolan has photographed every step from the devastating fire to the reopening.

Ten years have passed since the Cathedral reopened following a total restoration, which was one of the largest conservation projects in western Europe. To mark this anniversary the cathedral will host an exhibition of Tiernan's photos documenting its journey back from the ashes.

The exhibition will be free of charge to the public during the Cathedral opening hours of 8AM to 8PM each day.

The Official Launch takes place on Friday 20th of October 2024 in St. Mel's Cathedral.
