Consultation workshops Kilkenny young people for 2025 Cruinniú na nÓg
This initiative aims to amplify the voices of marginalised children and young people in County Kilkenny, focusing on the planning of Cruinniú na nÓg 2025, Ireland’s national day of free creativity for children and young people. Through a series of creative sessions led by 2 artists we will provide a safe and inclusive space for children and young people to express their views on Cruinniú na nÓg and contribute ideas for the future of this national event.
Target Groups:
We are committed to engaging children and young people from diverse backgrounds, including:
- New communities (such as International Protection Applicants, refugees, and members of the Roma Community)
- Children and young people with disabilities
- Members of the Traveller community
- Those at risk of early school leaving
- Focusing on rural communities identified through the Pobal indices.
This innovative project will ensure that the voices of marginalized children and young people are heard and considered in Kilkenny County Council’s planning and programming for Cruinniú na nÓg 2025.
