One of the projects, as part of the Tread Softly Festival that we are producing, entitled Pilgrim, involves a group of Sligo based artists visiting 5 places of pilgrimage in County Sligo and creating a piece of land art near each site. Only natural materials are used, and the work is impermanent. 

As part of this community-based project and to give a higher profile to the artwork, the project team would like to project the results of Pilgrim onto the façade of Sligo Town Hall. We believe this will bring the ethos, objectives and artistic quality of Tread Softly dramatically into the heart of Sligo's nighttime culture during a key week of the tourism season. 
Accomplishing this will require the filming and editing of material from the project which will then be to be projected onto the Town Hall building. 
All Tread Softly projects only use artists based in the northwest, creating projects that facilitates them working together on themes of the landscape and deep history of Co. Sligo. Tread Softly is at its very heart an environmental festival created by artists living here for and including the community of county of Sligo.
