Cairde ran a series of of community art workshops which brought professional artists together with community groups to create a large scale  celebratory procession to close this years arts festival.  Artists worked with community groups including Cranmore Co-op, Foroige, Sligo Youth Theatre and Aremoja to create processional elements including lanterns, masks, large scale push puppets and also ran movement and processional workshops with culminated in a large scale procession which started at Sligo City Hall and finished at Queen Maeve Square.  Maeve Warrior Queen involved community members, volunteers, professional artists and professional production team members.
