This project seeks to develop an arts based project for adolescents attending HSE mental health services in Carlow. CAHMS services will engage an artist to work with young people age 15-17 attending Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services in Carlow, including those with an interest in the arts, those who have limited social opportunities, those who have restricted interests. The aim of these workshops is to encourage the young participants in the areas of creating a sense of community and belonging,  increasing self esteem and sense of self through creative expression.
Workshops will take place in August 2024 and will be co-facilitated by staff from CAMHS, to engage and support the young people in attending.
