Puffins on Parade (POP) is a creative youth engagement project as part of National Circus youth engagement project as part of the National Circus Festival (NCFI).

Large epic puffin puppeets will be created by young people that they will wear and perform in the circus festival parade. The students and their creations will then feature as part of the festival’s finale parade, an accessible free public event which takes over the streets of Tralee. 

The project objective is to create and explore. The project objective is to create accessible opportunities for young people to explore and lead on their own creativity, working with professional creatives to guide and offer their expertise through creativity and facilitation techniques, culminating in an opportunity to perform in a street arts parade, spectacle, creating and infusing inspiration .
