Croom FRC will develop a Community Music Hub for children 8-17 years, with Music Generation Limerick County, inspired by Community Music Hubs in other rural communities of County Limerick.

Croom Community Music Hub will involve Music Generation musicians working with children & young people to enable them to actively enjoy & participate in music.

Delivered on a weekly basis during out of school hours in Croom FRC, 20 children and young people will be offered the creative space, regardless of ability to participate in music and develop musical expression. The Community Music Hub will run for 12 weeks each academic term.

Croom Community Music Hub will be a non fee paying, equal opportunity initiative, and will especially welcome marginalised / disadvantaged children and young people.

The primary objective of this initiative is to increase access and extend learning opportunities to children and young people, of all levels and abilities in our area.
