Offaly Libraries Comic Con is a one-day programme of events, including workshops, crafts, competitions, activities and vendor stalls.

The library is transformed into a typical Comic Con exhibition space, with a variety of pop culture spectacles, including Star Wars and Predator cosplayers, Viking and Medieval Knight combat re-enactments and much more.  Lego Freeplay, a VEX Robotics Arena, a Crafts Corner and a Virtual Reality Zone will be on offer for all attendees. 

For more traditional Comic Con attendees, a Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons game area is available to promote storytelling, through play, and is suitable for all ages.

The workshops include Digital Art, Dungeons & Dragons Creative Writing and Comic Book Drawing Sessions.

The cosplay competition features 5 different categories - Children, Young Adult, Adult, Homemade and Judge's Choice. 

Suitable for all age groups and all are welcome to Tullamore Library on Saturday, 14th September, 2024 from 10am-4pm.
