We have used our platform to help a large number of festivals/events/artists to promote their projects and we would like to commission a series called called ‘Creative Sligo’ which showcases the stories behind a number of creative individuals around the county.

Examples would be:
Tara McGowan and the story of Cairde Arts Festival.
Michael Quirke the Woodcarver and mis his craft with some Sligo Historical tales.
Karen Gordon or Mary McDonagh about their theatre groups (Pop Up Theatre and Fun Company)
Speak to a group of teen musicians (perhaps participants in the Teenage Theme Nights or Sligo Academy of Music) about their musical journey.

We have many more ideas, these are just a sample.

We produce our content to a very high standard and many of the people we will feature may not have ever had their story told on such a platform before. We believe it is important for people to see the human story behind a festival, a performance or a piece of art.
We hope some of their stories will inspire others to further their own creative aspirations and also benefit the individuals who feature in the series.

The costs will go towards production as well as a fee for the guests time.
