Written by Robert Tyrell, Molly and the Robot , is set against a post apocalyptic  backdrop in Co. Monaghan. 

The heart of the story centres around Molly, a spirited young farmer, and her poignant connection with a robot she finds buried in her field. 

This short film project will be shot in the stunning landscapes surrounding Lough Muckno. It will engage local people involved in the filmmaking industry, including Monaghan natives, Táine King as Director and Aoife Feely as Production  Designer.

Molly and the Robot is produced by Joanne Heffernan.
