The Percy French Anniversary Seminar is the second event from the Roscommon Creative Ireland Programme that is being held to commemorate the 170th anniversary of the birth of Roscommon poet and balladeer Percy French. 

It takes place in Roscommon Library, and in collaboration with the Clooneyquinn Percy French Society. The day will include 3 talks, reflecting on French’s life, work and contribution to culture, which will  be interspersed by French’s music by various local musicians.
