Fruitbowl is a media literacy and communications open-ended course for adults with additional needs, which utilises youth theatre, video making and photography in a club-like environment.

Fruitbowl was developed and is facilitated by filmmaker Fiona MacGinty, working with service users of the Muiriosa Foundation to explore creatively how media works.

Participants will learn how to act and perform for the camera; learn video production techniques and create their own narratives. Learning outcomes: awareness of how media is produced, increased confidence and sociability, improved communication and self-awareness, ability to work in a team.
