‘From the Nanny to the Boyne: A History of the Villages and Townlands on the Coast of County Meath’ was published in 1999 by Meath East Co-operative Society Ltd. The book was put together as a FÁS Community Employment Project under the direction of Meath East Co-operative Society Ltd. It was the first publication on the subject of coastal County Meath to provide a comprehensive overview of the area.

The book has been out of print for a number of years, and the intention of the new revised and expanded edition, is to help the growing population of east Meath to engage more fully with their area and to gain a fuller understanding of its history.
