Creative Ireland Clare, in partnerhsip with Healthy Clare has commissioned the design of a map of the county that highlights Clare's 'blue' spaces. 

Research shows that being near, in, on, or underwater can make you happier, healthier, more connected, and better at what you do.  Blue Spaces provide an opportunity for people to connect with their natural surroundings and stimulate creativity and wellbeing. 

The final product will be a map marking Clare's Blue Spaces, as well as areas of natural beauty and biodiversity. The map will be distributed for free among the communities in Clare, particularly those in disadvantaged areas.
