Backstage Theatre will deliver a number of literature projects in 2023 including live readings and spoken word events with writers such as Michael Harding, Felicia Olusanya, a letter writing project in which an established writer corresponds with a group of participants locally over a number of weeks and a poetry project for schools led by an established poet. We will collaborate with Match in the Dark, the LIVE network of venues and Literary Audience Development Officer Dani Gill to source and manage this programme of events.

This is part of our continued efforts to build an audience for literature and provide opportunities for people to engage with writers and poets.
