Cavan County Museum will play host to a 2 day military show as part of Creative Cavan 2023. This show will feature military vehicles, displays from local military and historical groups, and several re-enactment performances over the weekend by the Battle of Ashbourne re-enactment group.

The re-enactment performances will take inspiration from the history, heritage, and cultural richness of the county, such as those experiences of Cavan men in WWI, and use them to provide opportunities to experience and create cultural memory by those who attend the military show.
