This project is part of the Magic Under Monaghan film produced by Monaghan Heritage Office to promote wetlands. As a follow on from this, and to further invest in the education of wetlands, a series of workshops with Transition Year students is planned. These workshops will take place in September and October 2023 and will enhance the Transition Year programme by incorporating Monaghan's biodiversity in their programme of activity for the year. Emphasis will be put on the importance of maintaining and safeguarding our wetlands from further damage and repairing some of the damage already done.
