Midleton Ars Festival 2023 promotes public art, connection and education through performance, environmental arts and music.

Midleton is a vibrant, creative area - this festival connects hundreds of artists to their community to create a climate of change.

The festival focuses on encouraging creativity and community engagement and we work together with a wide array of groups to develop and grow the cultural profile of the town. We facilitate a way to learn about our environment through creativity, by showcasing what our local artists have to offer, and helping to promote the benefits of expressing oneself through art based actions and participation.

This year sees a whole host of events: exhibitions, festival workshops, school workshops prior to the festival weekend, schools art room project, music events, busking, spoken word, interactive theatre, a large art market, free cinema screenings, filmmaking and a street gallery.

MAF puts environment and culture at the heart of the community, sparking connections to drive understanding, empathy and new ideas.

We see evidence annually of the community uplifted and inspired post-festival, and see continual growth in ideas, projects and community groups developing and connecting.
