Quilling is an art form that involves rolling, shaping and glueing thin strips of paper into various shapes and designs.  It is also known as paper filigree or filigrana.  As an art form it is accessible to a large number of people. Galway City Library will provide a facilitator who can teach quilling to people who have never engaged in this before plus provide the materials for the duration of the workshops and then frame the finished artwork and display in Galway City Library as a permanent art feature.
